In 2002 I traveled to the Peruvian rainforest to meet with an “ayahuascero” – a shaman who works in particular with ayahuasca, a very powerful vision-enhancing elixir. For me, the plant medicine provided a range of extremely intense experiences. During one “journey” in particular, I travelled to another planet where Jesus was debarking from a spacecraft wearing a white sparkly Elvis costume. He was also wearing sunglasses with an extra lens for the third eye. I said, “Nice glasses!” and Jesus replied, “Alyce, these are for you.” Since this experience I have been collecting old pairs of glasses from thrift shops with the intent to recreate the glasses in my vision. I’ve finally gotten around to assembling a few pairs – this is one of my favorites.

1. where can i get these 2. love that they are rose colored, does that make seeing out of your third eye make the world better?
right now they're i'm making them one at a time from thrift store sunglasses - no two alike. yes, i find rose-colored is a good choice for the third eye. :)
Alyce, Hi I'm a facebook friend with Adam Overton and live in studio city. I saw your beautiful 3rd eye sunglasses art and would love to know if you have any for sale currently, and how much? I, too, love the rose colored but I also am open to turquoise, purple, vibrant blue and white ( my fave chakra colors)! Hey, there's an idea--you could do "chakra sunglasses"! I'm not a crafty gal like you but I'm an idea woman and love to share inspiration.:) wondering if you have a shop or if you do art fairs or you don't normally sell your art, you just post it for viewing? ~Blessings, Lisa Ann
